Tiger's attack

"Every time, when my husband and I visit his parents, their cat, called Tiger, sniffs my feet and shoes, utters threatening wail and dashes on me. Ones, he even has bitten my hand! I love cats; I have two by myself, but that Tiger giving me nuts carry to nervous breakdown. Neither gifts as cat's mint nor spattering my trousers with repulsive for cats preparations don't influence upon his attitude to me. At first, I suppose that it is reaction on scent of my cats, but neither my husband nor son does cause such Tiger's reaction. What does such cat's behaviour mean and how can it be changed?"

When cats press themselves close to ground before attack and utter a low throaty howl, they act under influence of fear. Tiger's fear of you may be explained by many factors: by an especial combination of scents, your movements about him and even subconscious attitude of his owners to you. Giving to Tiger cat's mint that is strange itself, you worsen the situation as this plant facilitates cat's pseudo-predatory behaviour. Tiger doesn't associate this gift with you and he doesn't feel any gratitude to you. On the contrary, suddenly feeling mint scent he starts to imagine that he is a wild beast remembers his dislike to you and pounce upon you. As far as Tiger is not your cat, he should be accepted as he is and try to avoid close contacts with him. Move away when he approaches thus you show that you don't threaten him. With permission of your senior relatives you may take vial of water with you and spatter a little on Tiger when he threatens you.
