While applying medicines, one should keep the following precautions: don't touch the eyeball with a dropper or a tip of tube with ointment. After you've brought the ointment into a dog eye, don't allow the dog to rub his eyes with his paw or to rub his muzzle at a carpet. Introduce the medicine in the following way: make the dog sit down and fix his head by your left hand. By thumb and forefinger of your right hand move eyelids apart and introduce drops or ointment.
