How to Make a Cat Grow Thin

Cats live inactive life in town and thus put on weight. Overweight, in turn, causes inactivity and problems with muscles, joints, respiratory organs, vessels and hepatopathy. And this is not the end of list of physiological disorders. Fatness takes place also when the cat is fed for quite a long time with food rich in calories. Sometimes overweight may result from different pathologies, but more often the reason is bad-balanced diet. A cat that leads sedentary life needs fewer calories but without fail demands enough proteins and minerals. Low-caloric food alone is able to take a cat to its normal weight.

Regimen of Growing Thin

The point is not in reducing the amount of food - this may lead to a permanent hunger and filching - but in substitution of fats and carbohydrates by indigestive cellulose contained in vegetables. However at that on should care for a sufficient amount of proteins and minerals in order to avoid nutrition insufficiency. The good advice is to lay a ration of equal parts of fresh meat and green vegetables and adding some special cat's mineral vitaminized condiment with low magnesium content. This condiment is used in proportion of 50 g per 1 kg of cat's weight. That is a cat of 5 kg needs 250 g of this food daily, we mean the weight that is necessary to achieve and not that on this day. This daily rate one should divide in 2-3 parts depending on number of feedings.

Fast Foods to Grow Thin

If you have a lack of time to make up a special menu for your plump cat don't lose heart. There are special dietetic foods providing full nutrition with a deferred calorie content: low caloric with small fat content, rich in cellulose and vitamins.

Consuming the same amount of food a cat gets fewer calories and gradually returns to its normal weight.

There are some foods available that being full enough, yet contain light nutrients that prevent growing fat in those predisposed individuals or just help lose some tens of grams in those, which are only gently heavy. But one is able to find a very low-caloric food, which help get rid of considerable obesity. They are produced in a form of dry and canned food. The only obstacle is to find a food to a cat taste. Light diet doesn't always mean unpalatable diet.
