A wide choice of fast food gives an opportunity to select what they like. Many cats bore monotonous meals, all the same every day. Some fastidious animals are used to eating only a small portion of a definite food per day, so that its master has to keep several opened cans with different food in a refrigerator. It seems that such fastidiousness is irrelevant in the world of village half-wild cats. However David MacDonald and John Bredshow, authors of a new book on English cats' behavior, observed animals living at three desolate farms and have revealed that most of them prefer food that is ordinary at two other farms and rare at their own.
